SYSTEM 2000 - MIXED I/O

This unit is a fixed format telemetry outstation suited to small cost sensitive applications.

The equipment comprises a single printed circuit board which incorporates 24 digital inputs, 8 digital outputs and 8 analogue inputs. Modem, RS485 and UHF radio communication modes are supported as options.

The equipment may be configured for point to point operation or used as an outstation in SCADA applications.

The system provides the ability to address a total of 256 outstations when used in polled mode.

The system employs either the Orion CP1 or Modbus RTU protocols. The latter is an industry standard which has been adopted by many industrial equipment manufacturers and is emulated by most PC based SCADA software packages.

A serial programming port is also provided.
