SYSTEM 2000 - MICRO FIXED

The Orion System 2000 Micro Fixed (MF1) is a fixed format telemetry outstation suited to very small, digital input/output, applications of a cost sensitive nature. A maximum 8 I/O digital signal capability is provided.

The equipment may be configured for point to point operation or used as an outstation in SCADA type applications.

The system employs the standard CP1 Orion protocol thereby permitting the mixing of all System 2000 equipment types in polled applications.

It provides the ability to address a total of 256 outstations when used in the polled mode. A wide range of communications and I/O interfaces are supported as standard with alternatives available to special order.

Integrated, de-regulated VHF/UHF low power communications configurations are also available.

Special simplex type protocols incorporating randomised poll initiate techniques are available for radio based applications. Several fixed format variants are available as briefly detailed below.
